Congrats to Austin rapper, Poise, who debuted his long-awaited music video for Heavyweight Champ, the lead single off his forthcoming full-length, last night. The event occurred at what is apparently a community center in east Austin, and featured free Shiner Bock, which helped to draw in a nice sized crowd of over 100 people at the peak. I was glad to get out and see some members of the local rap community that I had not in a long time.
Unfortunately, I can’t find the video itself posted online, but when it is, I’ll post it up here. I did get some pictures though, and acted a fool in the parking lot on the 54 Reality Show. I hope MOS puts it up soon.
